General Instructions

  • Kindly follow the following instructions meticulously while submitting your abstracts.
  • Abstract must be submitted in the prescribed format as a soft copy “Microsoft Word” format.
  • Abstract must be typed single-space in English using font “Times New Roman” font size 12.
  • Type the abstract in order of Title, Authors, Institution(s), Abstract Category, Preferred Mode of Presentation (Platform/Poster) and Abstract Text.

Research Abstract Format

  • Research abstract should be Structured under the headings: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusions.
  • Case reports may be presented in an unstructured format.
  • Word count for abstract body (excluding title, affiliation and authors names) = 250 words.
  • Presenting author’s name should be underlined.
  • Tables and graphs can be included if they fit within the word count. Do not include photographs/photomicrographs.

Important Notes

  • Submit the complete scientific work as Scientific Abstract. Incomplete submissions will be rejected.
  • The presenting author must be a Member / Associate Member of AP Chapter of API and a registered delegate.
